God used ChristianCafe.com to bring my husband (Cory) and me together. In November 2004 I received a Cafe message from Cory, who was acting on a whim. Cory asked me to check out his profile and reply if I was interested. I was flattered and replied immediately. After corresponding back and forth online, Cory called me that same week. He expressed a desire to meet me in person as soon as possible to avoid false impressions.
Thus, the following weekend, December 10th, Cory and I each drove an hour through the pouring rain to meet in Allentown, Pennsylvania, at a half way point from where we were both living at the time, for a dinner date. Our first encounter was awkward, both of us being very nervous, and we did not present our true selves. However, we both believed in another try, and over time our love grew into what it is today.
On August 11th, 2005, after a romantic sunset cruise, Cory proposed to me on Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, with waves crashing and a star filled sky.
Cory and I were married on June 16th, 2007. We couldn’t be happier! God knew what He was doing when we both happened upon ChristianCafe.com.

I am writing to let everyone know how wonderful ChristianCafe.com is, and if you are thinking of joining I would recommend it. My husband and I actually met several days after we each joined ChristianCafe.com.
I received an email to try your service. At first I was not sure if I wanted to, but thought that it would not hurt. I am a Baptist and usually would not look for someone who was not a Baptist, but decided to see what would happen.
I came across a really nice guy with a great picture, but what really got me was he said that he was a Messianic Jew. I had never heard the term and was curious to know more. So I sent a simple Cafe message in April 2005 asking what Messianic Jew meant, and his reply changed my life forever. After some messaging, we exchanged phone numbers, and we met in person on June 18, 2005. My future husband came to a concert at my church that the Christian Band I was in was putting on for the public, and I knew it was love at first sight. By Thanksgiving 2005 we were engaged. We married on May 6, 2006 and just celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
I want singles to know not to get discouraged in their singleness. I did get discouraged and was so miserable for a very long time. When I hit 30 I thought it was the end of the world, because like most women I had spent my life dreaming of getting married and having children. I got really mad at God for not bringing the man for me into my life, but God knows what He is doing, and just the right time when you are ready to met that person. When we married I was 31 and my husband was 36
My husband is from Guatemala and I could not meet him until he came to the US. It was not the way that we would have planned to meet, but it was God's perfect timing. Enjoy your singleness and before you know it you will be spending your life with someone hand picked by God!

Our testimonial with pictures! THANK YOU! In 2001 I met a girl on ChristianCafe.com who was a lawyer, but the relationship just didn't work out. So five years later, after rejoining the Cafe, when lawgirl986's profile kept popping up on my searches I was reluctant to read on. But when I finally read Nicole's answers to the profile questions I thought she was writing about me. I was compelled to send her a message.
Nicole did not write back immediately. Then out of the blue, I got a Cafe message from her and my attraction to her was rekindled. We finally met in person six weeks from my first message and haven't looked back since. Seven months later, we were married in San Diego.
We've been blissfully married for six months!

I wanted to share this good news with the Cafe. In 2004 I met someone from another dating site. At the time I did not feel that the two of us were spiritually yoked.
Just 2 weeks ago that person signed up on the Cafe and saw my profile. She reached out and shared her testimony with me.

Our Eighth Anniversary! I lived in Iowa and my wife Donna lived in Florida. We joined ChristianCafe.com in 1999. We were married on July 31, 1999.
Today (31 July 2007) is our Eighth Anniversary and we are doing very well. Donna had three teenagers and it was a challenge to "Grow" with them but they are doing well in their chosen professions.
