Greg and Wendy, Ecstatic!

My experience with ChristianCafe.com has changed the way I view online dating. I was a member briefly and did not renew because though I did make some new friends, I'd not really met anyone with whom things "clicked". About 4 months ago, I received a free weekend and decided to give ChristianCafe.com one last try. After the trial, I decided to renew with a paid membership in hopes that I would meet that special someone. I met Mark shortly after renewing my account. We couldn't believe how alike we are in all areas--it was obvious to us both that we had met our soulmates! We have been seeing each other for about three and a half months and are engaged to be married this September. Now we are eagerly looking toward the future and the things God has for us as a ministry team!
We are SO thankful that God used ChristianCafe.com to bring us together. And, a word of encouragement to those of you who are still hoping to find the one God created to give you butterflies...Please, do not give up and, even more importantly, do NOT settle. God HAS created someone special just for you but He wants to be your first love. When Mark and I both reached the point (prior to meeting) that we'd told God we were okay with just Him...that is when He brought us together.

There was absolutely no other way that we would have met without ChristianCafe.com. I was seeking a mate and I had rather high standards. I am a pastor looking for someone who was a mature Christian and interested in ministry in some unique ways. The response I received was amazing. I met three very good prospects - two within a 2 hour drive and one quite some distance away within the first month. My husband Pete and I met 3 years ago on ChristianCafe.com. We are both rather unusual: he is a classical pianist and I am an artist. We both have been believers since the age of 10. We got married after a whirlwind romance of only 7 months. Well that is now over 2 years ago and we have never been so happy in our entire lives. We now live in a little village in the countryside in our lovely new home and I am busy with our garden and Pete has just started breeding Pekin Bantams. It is really fun being together and we have done masses of traveling but are now quite content at home planning the many art and music events wihch we have been able to organise.
